Certainly not here today. Alan Refail must be feeling it a bit. According to the wind weather chart the wind is gusting between 60-70 mph in his neck of the woods. We have a somewhat brisk (40+mph) south westerly that seems to be blowing the rain around us. But it has knocked the stuffing out of my young recently planted brassicas and there are some very ominous rattlings coming from the house roof.

Hi DiG
Not as bad as that! But it's probably a lot wilder further down the peninsula and on Enlli.

Getting sunburn and windburn here today.
And there's a lot of prairie dust blowing about.

Very heavy rain last night and this morning. Sunshine and 60mph winds this afternoon. Disconnected the automatic window opener on the windward side of the GH - the window was probably OK but was moving about a bit. The one on the lee side and the low level vent are keeping the temperature around 25C. Very odd weather!
Regards
Ian

Great day for drying washing! Everything is double-pegged and even thick towels are dry in about an hour. They say the wind is going to abate tonight and tomorrow should be calmer.

Dear Alan, does that mean my personal jet will be laid up again, how tedious!

Yet another wet and windy day here. At least it's bring the potatoes on nicely.

It's a little limp this morning, the seaweed that is, so hopefully that's a sign of rain.

Hello PJ, same here, still waiting for a decent shower. We had some funny ha ha ha! rain yesterday, one dark cloud went over and dropped about eight drops on the greenhoiuse roof, I got quite excited hearing that - then it stopped.

Rain's different today - coming straight down instead of going past horizontally.

We had a couple of short showers this morning, which didn't even wet the surface.
Very strong winds again this afternoon.
Not a soul on the beach when I took the dog for a walk
