Hi Alan,
My onions do not grow underground. If you keep having to trim the foliage then ultimately you will have had the same amount of foliage or maybe even more. So I do not see what would be gained on that score.
The same amount of energy would have been used to grow the foliage.
It is you who will have expended the energy and for what?
All in all I suspect this posting should have been on April the first!

I think you might have some over-protective security software on your pc. There is nothing malicious about either site. I can only think that adverts on the sites could have flagged up a potential problem.
