Gosh, if you used it for fake tan, you would clear a room - or attract a lot of weirdos, I guess.

Anything has got to be better than eating it surely
Do you think it would work as a wood preserver on the shed

Hi Tangoman,
May I enquire in which sense you are using the word stunning?
Lawrence Dellaglio actually chose MARMITE as the one thing he could not be without on his desert island on Desert Island Discs yesterday.

Hi Westi,
I appreciate that you are from the land of Aus (oz?) but one of my near neighbours goes to Australia a couple of times a year and all his Aus mates can ask for is Marmite and he has to take masses out with him.
What annoys him is that he himself cannot bear Marmite!
JB.

Years ago when the Soviet Union was breaking up and people there were suffering from serious food shortages and long queues, we put a jar of Marmite in a food parcel we sent to a Russian friend. He and his family had absolutely no idea what it was, or what to do with it. They thought it was some kind of axle grease and couldn't figure out why on earth we'd put it in a food parcel.
We all had a good laugh subsequently when we actually told him that British people liked to eat it on toast. They didn't believe us for years until they subsequently emigrated to the USA and then discovered all kinds of amazing things that people ate in the West!

Perhaps Marmite could be used to improve the colour of peat-free compost and make it smell more like s**t.
