Now i thought these sorts of goings on, only happened in Milton Bryan.
Grockie, i could get you an old tradesman bike, if you are feeling a little left out on the gift front.

Dont worry about me Grockie, all is fine, plus he knows everything anyway, well almost everything. And there is definitely no howsyerfather involved. No way Pedro. He's just a friend and we get on. I just didnt know who he was when I met him, and now i do, well, it's awkward.
Love you too Grockie

Well, Chantal, with the £2.00 litre on the horizon, you seem to have made the right decision at the right time.

Did I ought to own up to having 2 cars.

.although I can only drive one at a time and fill one up with petrol at once too.....both are insured, etc I must add...
Total value seems to be £1000 on a good day..the cars, not just the petrol in the tank.
...but I went a bit rash yesterday and treated myself to a trip to the Skoda garage....for a look at some Vat "free" and Car Tax free (only for first year). ..and that's how I know of the £250 part of the £1000 listed above.....although it was suggested that the value was really £1.
Must have been all the excitement of really having a day out to see this 50 year old lady perform..

I've only had a car this past ten years and I have absolutely NO intention of giving it up! The convenience of getting in my car and going where I please, when I please, is sheer bliss. All the faffing around planning journeys round bus timetables, as I did for many years, was a complete pain. Birdwatching with one eye on the time for fear of missing the bus back was awful...and you can bet your bottom dollar, the good stuff turned up when it was time to go for the bus!
Likewise, when we go out for the evening, I choose not to drink so I can drive us there and back...one of my main bugbears used to be hanging around waiting for a pre-booked taxi, which was half an hour late...when I want to go home, I want to go!
As long as I can do so, I will use a car.
Cheers.
