Evening PJ, no, i have never tried Telefono, are they a variety you have grown before?

Now, regarding the much sort after, hard to get your hands on, Radeo tall pea, i'm afraid they are only available from generous forum members.

I'm afraid i have given my surplus seed away to two forum members this year.
But maybe someone else on here might have a little to spare.

Dear Nature's Babe, i forgot to say that i don't know of a hardy tall pea.

Ah, that would explain why I can't see them listed anywhere online.
I have just got a packet of Telefono from Seeds of Italy. As far as I know they are a very old variety, but I have not tried them before.

You never know PJ, they might even be the same pea, renamed.

You could well be right OH :)

The only tall pea I have grown in the past is alderman. It will be interesting to see how good telefono is ( or isn't ) :)

I looked online OH and could not find a seed company that supplies them?
LOL all that came up was a beautiful picture of some you had grown !
I have one veg bed that drops 3 feet from a raised area, so I could plant there and pick from the raised area. :)
I have grown victoriana climbing pea before they cropped very well and tasted very good
