Have seen plenty of starlings also quite a few sparrows which we haven't seen for in such numbers for years.

Had some at our fatball feeder this weekend, four balls gone in under a day!

Hi JB, we've had a wren nesting in our allotment shed , just in the nook of the roof and the wall. A lovely nest made from old grass cuttings and whatnot! Also, my dad made a nesting tenament (a row of nest boxes from scrap wood) and we always get blue tits nesting in those!

We always get blue and great tits in our terrace box too even though it is supposed to be for sparrows.

We usually have a pair of blue tits in our sparrow terrace. They started nest building this year and were then evicted by wasps which now occupy the centre section. The two outer section act as sound boards so, when the wasps enter and leave the hole, it makes a wonderful whoooooom sound!

Another blue tit box in our garden has been taken over by a (buff-tailed?) bumble bee. It'll be fun looking at these insect nests when the season is over.

Another of my nest boxes has a first for me, Pied Flycatcher. We haven't put the ladder to that one but after both parents being very busy at the end of last week I haven't seen them or any offspring today. Ladder tomorrow I think.

Lucky you, Geoff. I love pied flycatchers. We occasionally get them passing through on spring migration here and I have seen them nesting at the river Wharfe at Bolton Abbey. Only one lucky year, we had a nest in the woods a few minutes from home.
