Had an update, he's in a bit of pain but keeping bright, and his daughter said the Nurses are taking him upstairs tomorrow.

Funny my hip seems to playing up a little now. :)

Printed all your replies off, and he will have them this afternoon, i just know they will make the old boy smile.

I was going to take them in this afternoon myself, but have gone and got a right stinker of a cold, and there's no way i want him catching that.
But hopefully he will be out Wednesday.

Well i just had a lovely surprise, just went to collect the eggs from Old Codgers Hens, and who should just be going into his house, none other than the Man himself.

Good to have you back old chap. :)

And thankyou for the eggs, i had a gardeners dozen, 14. :)

Whilst over, tending the land, i just happened to look up, and heading towards the gate like a Cockerel strutting his stuff, was no other than miracle man Codger. :)

If determination won awards, he certainly deserves a medal.

Now we just need a plan to stop him over doing it.

Dear Donedigging, Old Codger is getting on very well. He is already taking walks to the allotments and checking on his girls. :)

We've just got to stop him doing too much, to quickly. :)

I'll tell him you have been asking about him, if he doesn't read this himself.

Hope all's well in your neck of the woods.
