Dear Johnsgirl, so sorry to read about Johns Dad.
Today is meant to be a good bright day, so i do hope you get to go.
But i do thinking you might be walking through the leaves, more than looking at them on the trees, i'm afraid.

Looks like they'll have a good day - Lake District mountains are clear with a nice white topping.

Sorry to hear about your father in law. I hope you have a good day in the Lakes it is a fab day today, wish I was going instead of getting on with my house work.
We are off the the Lakes on Saturday for a week
hence the housework today, hope the weather keeps like today all next week, crossed fingers please.

We had a lovely day with 'wall to wall' blue sky.
You were right OH about the leaves they were mostly on the floor but a few were still hanging on and very pretty they were too.
