Our allotment rules also state no trees shrubs etc, also one 6'x4' shed only (recently upgraded from 3'x3') but favourites seem able to buck the rules, one in particular has two sheds, one if which is half a nissen hut! This particular allotmenteer eats none of his produce but sells it all outside the site, this really annoys me as he makes quite a bit of money and the allotments rules say food to be grown for own consumption only, I think he should pay a commercial rent for his THREE allotments. I might be sounding petty (and I am!) but he constantly whinges about those of us whose plots are less than perfect.

Winge away Victoria - our rules are inconsistently applied too. This made it look as though our ex-site secretary (guess why he's ex?) was favouring some when it was the council official.

We have whingers too and most of them are people who get away with rule breaking!!
