Hi Plumpudding, Primrose and Tigger,
The reason why you have many baby frogs in your strawberries is because there is always good food for then. These are the nasties to which I refer. Later on in the year when the plants have almost died down is the time to run the mower SET HIGH and by this time the baby frogs will be bigger frogs and will have moved on or at least easier to spot. It would be truly tragic if you were to harm these wonderful little creatures!
It would appear that my mention of women and electric drills has somehow spread some discord and it was only meant as a leg pull aimed at Plumpudding who I am sure is as good as anybody else using her drill set. Mind you I did have a female employee who held the the piece of wood on the top of her leg and drilled through the wood into the top of her leg! Had to undo the chuck to remove the drill and then take her and the piece of wood to the hospital and thankfully she had done no lasting damage. She did drill into the big thigh muscle though and it took a long time to heal fully.
JB.
