Hi Elaine
Well, you have to laugh really, don't you? :D :D :D

At least the bus company seemed to take it seriously. The manager phoned me for details and said that if anyone was caught using a mobile at the wheel again, they would be fired instantly. Not sure if that was the fate of the one I reported, or not - I'm so bad at recognising people that I won't know if he's driving me or not :?
As yet, no one has used one again when I've been on the bus!

If I was in a taxi and the driver used his mobile phone whilst driving I would take his number and complain to the police, as well as the local licensing authority and the taxi firm. . It's bad enough private drivers using mobiles but when somebody is driving for a living, accepting money and putting public lives at risk, it's totally unacceptable and they deserve to lose their licence. There's no excuse and if we don't complain to the appropriate authorities, we're effectively condoning their actions.

Hi Primrose. I wish I had thought of that at the time but unfortunately, I was so hyped up at the time. This was a good ten years ago now and I no longer have to rely on public Transport as I'm lucky enough to have a car now. But, if anything similar ever happens, you can be sure I'll report it to the lot, go on local radio, local press and whoever else will listen.
Happy with my lot
