My flowers have just opened today. We're just having the most almighty thunderstorm so I hope it hasn't washed them off.

My Kiwi is covered with blossom - attractive blossom too, a lovely creamy buff colour jam packed with stamens. Last year a lot of fruit set, but the season was so cold and wet that they didn't grow much bigger than pea size. Perhaps this year they will do better. Cant remember the variety but I think it was "Boskoop" which is self fertile.
I also have "Jenny" (Oh dear, my memory is not what it was) - its the very small smooth skinned variety. Thats flowering at setting fruit too. Last year I seem to remember it flowered early and a late frost killed all the blossom.

Primrose - I think we had your thunderstorm too but in the distance I was outside under the patio roof destemming the redcurrants that I had picked.

Marken - Green with envy as I only have five flowers on a really large plants. Do you prune yours?
