Hi JB. Please give us regular updates on "your" Song Thrush! I love watching nesting activity but don't get the opportunity in our garden. Due to the population of cats around here, birds don't choose to move in!
The Great Tits in the nest box on our allotment are very busy at the moment though. Cheers.

Last year while at work (as a paramedic) I was at a patients home helping him get stuff together for hospital, when my crewmate, who was looking at the patients wife, said to me 'Look! Great tits!'
She actually meant the birds on the feeder outside the window behind the gentlemans wife....

Hi Elaine,
Sad story. The Song Thrush nest was attacked on Saturday night and one egg eaten in the nest and the other three taken. The ST has disappeared. Suspected culprit is a Rat.

Oh no - that's one reason I don't like watching Springwatch - horrible things happen in nature!
