Good point Smurfy about the advertising. In 14 years of business the only advertising I have ever done has been to attend shows - usually local agricultural shows - and only a selection a year - and to give talks to groups eg WI (I'm a reflexologist). I would say 99% of my business has been built by word of mouth.

Thank you everyone for your best wishes and advice, sorry not to reply sooner we have been very busy. (Yesterday we spent all afternoon sorting the polytunnel ready for planting and cleared quite a lot of rubbish off the plot). We have had a really good day today and have had three customers ring today for repairs so thats good news.
Monika we are not sign writing the van is is just a small white van so I dont think you will know who we are, sorry.
I will keep you all informed as to how we are getting on and thanks again your advice and best wishes are really appreciated.
