I was impressed by his clean shot at the deer (if it was genuine!). Having seen lots of red deer in Scotland last week (stags bellowing and showing off to their ladies) it was sad to see one shot, but they taste Sooooo Good!

I sky+ Jamie Oliver and started watching it yesterday afternoon as I was under the weather and did not feel like doing anything. I only watched the first part of it, Ithought the swearing was just awful, and I am not a prude, there was absolutley no need for it, and as for him apologising about the swearing before it started, no excuse whatsoever, I wont be watching that programme again.

I know i'm a little old fashioned in my ways, so i'm not a lover of swearing too.

I have to admit I can swear horribly when provoked, but I don't do it when in earshot of children, or anyone not known to me, really.

It does offend to hear so much swearing on the street (often from young people with their own kids in tow)with absolutely no consideration for anyone else. I expect some of this stems from TV...

After reading these posts, I had never heard of Valentine, but it just happened to come on whilst I was in the kitchen at lunchtime so I watched it. I must say he is quite easy on the eye I liked watching him, but the meat is a bit too rare for me and I dont eat game of any kind, Only fish, chicken, beef, lamb and very rarely pork and most things vegetarian. Never had it but never fancied it either, strange really Well I must get on and cook my Aubergine and potato Dhansac, must post it on the recipes page as well because it has a truly outstanding taste, one of Ainsleys recipes (never heard him swear). I made it to take away on holiday with us in November but we've just eaten the second blessed portion so I need to make some more.

But, I prefer Hugh much more so watched that. It was ok but nothing to get yer knickers wagging over, to be honest.

Maybe there are too many of these shows on tv now and it's starting to get repetative
