I harvested my Sarpo today; they were healthy but the crop was disappointingly small, probably because the seed potatoes I got from T & M were also pathetically small (for the whole sad saga, read 'Seed Potato Problems', originally posted by Di on 4 March). So I would also like to know the answers to Geoff's questions "Is there a shortage? Should we order from Alan Roman now?",

Geoff, we usually order ours from T&M and have already done so for 2009. Am I not right in thinking it's only Alan Romans and T&M who stock the Sarpo varieties? Last year we ordered ours from T&M at the start of October and certainly received all the Sarpos ordered, unlike some people who ordered much later.
