Retarding tomato ripening

This is the little sucker I'm talking about. World class ugly in my opinion.



It was just starting to change colour this morning, so I picked it and put it in the fridge. Fingers crossed

It's certainly a fine specimen. It must be that "special" fertilizer that you use

I can't take the credit for this one, I've added nothing except manure (last year) and Vitax tomato food.

It's now in a box in the bottom of the wardrobe and keeping well so far...
