Now arrived in Eastbourne. :(
We've spent the morning stripping over 5 kilos of Toms, hoping they will ripen under newspaper in the conservatory.

I've lost three tomatoe plants they were at the bottom of the plot but I moved them two weeks ago to half way up the plot and three days later they got blight. I moved two bush tomatoe plants out of the polytunnel at the same time and now I cant put them back in case I introduce blight into the tunnel.I am thinking I might not do toms next year as I had about 20 tom plant t the beginning of the year and now I only have half as many and they are all looking sick.

No blight on my tomatoes here in Bucks (fingers crossed) but after last year's epidemic I have sprayed mine so am hoping that they will stay blight free, despite all the wet weather.
WestHam Ron - we spent last week in Eastbourne so hope we haven't brought your blight back with us !!

Talking about tomatoes OH and others!

My greenhouse ones have had a very poor crop this year and a poor taste, lack of sun ?

looks like the summer is over for us, unlike the Med. they are hogging all the sunshine!
