Colin, Mine were all under evomesh as well, but still the thought of boiling caterpillers....yuck!!

Hi Monika, I have heard about brocolli being soaked in salt water but not caulis...
Harvested the caulis today,I didn't find any caterpillers, only earwigs!
while they cooked the "pink" disappeared and it returned to white, added fried onions, garlic and fried bacon with a cheese sauce.. baked in the oven to brown.. lush
