Dear Grockie sorry about your dog, i know it's just like losing one of the family.
But i think you have done the right thing getting another one nearly straight away.
Hope your luck takes a turn for the better soon.
Poor young Andrew, i suppose he did it struggling to take tea and toast up to his Mum in bed.

Hi Herby.....
Little Andrew has either torn the muscles and ligaments off his hip and pelvis OR he has broken a bone that covers the cartiledge in his hip joint, deep inside the joint.
He has to go back to the fracture clinic tomorrow to see an orthopaedic surgeon and see where we go next.
The poor little bugger is hobbling along on crutches and he is on Voltoral for his pain relief. Hopefully we'll have some more news about it tomorrow. I have a feeling that they may want to get him on a table and have a nose inside, because if he's done any of the above, it doesn't show up on xray or scan.
Haven't told him that bit yet.......
On the plus side, he's such a stoic boy and hasn't complained once. In fact, i only took him to the hospital because he WAS complaining about the pain he was in. Not like him at all.
He is starting to get cabin fever but we will see what happens.
