The pears have nearly all dropped off of my tree in the last two or three days,dont know if it is lack of water so i have give them a good soaking today,

My apples are doing very well, the plums have just started to fruit up and the pears are ok.
However, my red current and black current are pethetic....not a lot of fruit at all. I did prune them quite severely last autumn so I may have pruned them too much.....and next year the fruit should be great...they are normally good fruit producers as I got around 15lb of blackcurrents and 10lb of red currents last year.
The goosgogs are terrible too...but they got the same treatment as the red and blackcurrents.
I have had my first strawberries though...and very tasty they were too....great big fat juicy fruits...the type where the juice runs down your chin

I don't like it when the juice runs down your chin,i like it in my mouth so you can taste it, i love strawberry juice.
