Well said Lizzie.

Our local ambulance service was getting complaints about sirens being used at night (though we don't as a rule, lights are usually enough at night). So the legal position was investigated, and it was found that emergency services are exempt from the usual rule. So the Chief Exec emailed all road staff telling us we should use our sirens at ALL times. :twisted: Oooops. Be careful what you complain about!
We still don't, though. Much... :lol:

Yes! They're the ones! Aren't they just the most terrific things!
All okay from the accident, but my car is taking a little longer. Still, I was able to cycle to my exams yesterday & will do the same again tomorrow, so that cleared my head a little.
Thanks everyone, full recovery made, no doubt aided by KG forum and ugly courgettes!
