Thanks, if those crossed fingers are meant for me. We're going crackers with boredom but have to stay to answer the phones, just to take messages as we can't deal with anything
I'm alternating between being on here, the BBC, Daily Telegraph and revising Italian. When it's really busy I'd give anything for some spare time, but not this much.

Well, I now have hot water and central heating again. The bloke eventually turned up at 4.30pm this afternoon and fixed the problem. Had a leaky valve so he's fixed it.
I now have a mountain of wet stuff to get dry tomorrow. Hopefully, the wind will keep up and the rain stop, I can get them out on the line and dried for free
