Thanks for the info Colin, I'll let you know what I think of them. If they're not much good I'm not too worried as I have around a dozen other varieties on the go that I know are good. :D

A hurried reply, Chantal. I've been growing Outdoor Girl for many years. Don't worry - the leaves are supposed to look exactly as you describe. I believe this variety was one of the first outdoor varieties cultured and it was still assumed that toms would not grow well outdoors. I believe, though, if my memory isn't playing tricks, that the variety "Matina" has similar leaves.

I continue to grow this tom because of its taste, so I hope you enjoy the fruits of your labours.
