There is a freight line at the bottom of the street (it's a long street) maybe I should move closer to that. Or move to an earthquake zone

I'll move to the country anytime. Just give me half and hour to pack a few bits......

As for bragging or complaining, i've decided to say no more as this pit i've dug myself is getting rather deep. I may not have enough scaffolding to shore it up anymore

We live in Bucks and I slept through it all, as did my husband which is highly unusual for him as he's normally awake at the slightest noise. Didn't watch the news the following morning so when a neighbour e-mailed me about the earthquake and said it left her trembling with fear in her bed which was rocking" I wondered what on earth she was talking about. Then I switched on the 6 p.m TV news.

I was in bed; Sue was in the bathroom. The shower doors vibrated; I didn't.

It's strange how things come back to you; I recall going to the loo when I'd picked myself up off the floor. I looked out of the window on my way back to bed (clueless that there had been an earthquake). My neighbours were standing outside shining a torch at their roof, but they're as mad as a box of frogs so I thought nothing of it

Dear Lizzie, sometimes in life you have to make things happen, and if moving to the Country is one of them, then make it happen. :)

One day, who knows....... I may move next door to you. Think of the fun i'd have then. Grock could move with me too

Dear Lizzie, you don't need cash in the Country, we make our own fun.

I think it would be very pleasant having Grock and yourself as neighbours.
