I`ve done three already plus some spare bobbles! :)
Only stripey ones up to now but I`m thinking up something creative for later. 8)
It`s quite addictive - thanks Chantal!

Well done Elderflower, I'm very impressed. I may have a go myself later, after dark. I have a load of wool oddments around I can use so there's no excuses. :D

I'm going to join in too - perhaps we could have a KG page on their website?

Only problem is - I can't knit in front of the TV because the dog always runs off with the ball of wool. I'll have to sit upstairs in the study!

Put the wool in a bag that's behind you; that's what I used to do to keep it away from six cats.

Help with pom-poms

Well I've been beavering away making hats, but not sure about the pom-poms. I know innocent say they're not essential but I think some hats will look better with them. I'm just not sure on the size of rings to use. Can anyone tell me the diameters for the inner and outer ring that you have used.

I've not yet started knitting, let alone made any pom-poms, you're putting me to shame Belinda.

I`m using a 4cm diameter circle with a hole of about one and a bit cm in diameter.
That makes a substantial pompom that looks right on the hats. I found a smaller one a bit difficult to manage. :D

Thanks Elderflower,

I'll give it a go and see how they turn out.

Well I've made my first two hats. :D

Those flippin' pompoms are horrible to make that small though. I can knit the hat in about 15 minutes but it takes me around 30 minutes to make a pompom which is ridiculous!

How're the rest of you doing?
