Thanks for the link Chantal. Much appreciated. I have tried these these before and they were too big...... I think I must have really tiny hands. My sons hands are much bigger than mine and he's only 11.

Just wish the rest of me was as delicate

Jopsy......wasn't weeding in the nude...not after the time before last. I'm still paying the fine and the old man who spotted me is still having therapy. Plus, i'm still paying the fine off
Lots of love

Hi Lizzie,
They say small hands large heart!
Suggest to you that Broad Leaf Ragwort is only common to Central and Eastern Europe.
Euphoria's have a milk sap which is the offender.
I feel that I should stress that only certain people are affected by certain weeds that we commonly come into contact with. The case of the fellow who suffered badly from Parsnip burn is the exception rather than the rule. Take care all the same!
When weeding may I suggest the it is best to be fully clothed and trousers be worn and arms covered.
My hands have become considerably hardened over the years and as an example I can pull Stinging Nettles up with bare hands without effect but if the Nettles manage to touch a more tender spot then I am as vulnerable as the rest.
JB.

Lizzie

Sounds like spurge to me too. Be aware that it will scar for years - leaving brown patches. Rue is very similar in effect - I have had both in the past. Also, daffodill juice does it to me. Sunlight is needed for the worst effect. Some years back I was crouching, weeding in the buff at home and ended up with some odd 'henna tattoos' on my backside from spurge burns!

Jenny our home garden is about 1/6 acre, there are thick hedges on the sides that matter and a field between us and the road! Sadly due to pressure of time and veg growing at the fields, only propagation and lawn mowing/hedgetrimming goes on here now, even just 5 years ago it was like Tom and Barberas'...The old veg patches are scythed/strimmed or mypexed at present!

Thanks for that. Glad to hear you aren't frightening the vicar or anything.
Anyone else garden naked? I must admit the idea has some appeal. :?

Maybe you should consider it Herby. You might be able to charge more. Or less, of course.
