I think that's Jenny you need to ask Submariner and as she's off in Hong Kong for a week now you'll have to keep your suspenders on that little bit longer. :lol: :lol:

Whoops! Sorry Lizie. Problem I have is that to be a petty officer in the Navy, I either had to be able to read or write, and I was one of those that could write!

Suspenders are the Grocks thing.....not mine. Maybe I'll ask her. Although, now she's a Granny Grock she may have forgotten :shock:

Thank you one and all for your comments, both relevant and irrelevant!
I've taken note of the serious ones and bought a hat! Resident Expert bought me a nice straw trilby, took a photo of me in it, and we've just spent an hour trying to put the picture in here. It's from photobucket, and we can get the left hand half of it to show but we can't reduce the pixels to the 468 width required. Any help available from anyone? Regards, FatB.
