I'm just a beginner with Kohl Rabi, but have a tray of seedlings for the purple ones on the go. They germinated very quickly and are about 2cm high.

The only thing is, I've grown all the rest of my brassicas in pots because of club root in our allotments. I'm hoping I can transfer the seedlings to pots without setting them back - I didn't expect them to get going so quickly.

Hi Colin,
Kohl Rabi are probably best started off in modules as when you want to transfer them to pots there is no root disturbance. Some plants seem to really dislike root disturbance and I suspect the Kohl Rabi is one of them.
