There are different ones marketed for cats and foxes, so presumably they use different frequencies.

By the by, I lost two hens and a drake to the **** fox two days ago - never known cats to do that!

I have 3 of my 5 cats left and all were indoor cats. This solves the problem quite easily. Until a spuggie comes down the chimney in the summer...... you've never seen such transfixed cats as they try to figure out where the chirruping is coming from lol.

Before anyone says they need to be outside tell me why?

My cats have a room of their own, scratching posts, food, toilet areas, cuddles, places to hide and jump out on the other cats etc etc. In short they live very full and enriched lives.

I have indoor cats too Myrkk. They seem pretty happy to me, though I wish they would use the scratching posts provided, rather than the back of the sofa...

These indoor cats, do they suffer from agoraphobia, or do you both live in tower blocks.

We did live in a flat, when we got our (rescue) cats, so we asked for cats that couldn't, shouldn't or wouldn't go outside. Ours were of the latter variety.

Now, however, we have a large garden, which they occassionally escape into, but soon return looking entirely freaked-out.

Dear Mr P.H, it's very heart warming to know that you went for rescue cats, it's a shame more people don't.

I couldn't imagine living in a flat.
