Tai Chi is wonderful. I did it as part of the pain management programme and it's fab. If there was a class nearby i'd take it up. The nearest class is 15 miles away so it's not feasable really.

Some are happy to moan instead of getting on with it. They seem to think that attention will be taken away from them. I've also seen families held to ransom because of illness with all kinds of emotional blackmail going on.

Me, I just get on with it. I can't change the inevitable but I can keep it at bay for as long as possible.

Hope your backs feeling better Herby. Maybe you should try swimming or horse riding. They are the two most complete forms of exercise you can have.

Thanks Lyn

My overwhealming sense of evil intent overrides most of the time. I have too much chaos to cause yet.

I'm waiting for my daughter to move to university so that I can visit, leave wet towels on the floor, put the empty milk bottle back in the fridge, complain ans whine loudly that there's nothing to eat, tap her for money on a regular basis and embarrass her friends.

Ah, revenge...... so sweet Mmmmmmmwwwwwwwwwaaahahahah

OH, you have NO IDEA what you're missing. Lizzie's teaparties that go on until the small hours are the stuff of legends. The sprout wine flows, the singing of vegetable related songs (Bohemian Raspberry springs to mind) abound and the headaches the following day, ooooh. JB in the shed with Lizzie and Grock. At the last one poor Piglet was spit roasted and covered in something nasty; must I go on? It's all way before your time but I'm sure there will be another one soon.

Dear Chantal, it does sound as if i would be a little out of place, as i am a fairly quiet type of a gentleman. 8)

I do feel quite sorry for physios, they never seem to be taken seriously. Between the patients and the management, the NHS really is floundering along. Perhaps we should remove them all

I do honestly think the biggest problem is the management. For a few weeks I worked in the accounts dept. of an infirmary as a temp. Some of the invoices that were authoriesed were shocking. The worst being an invoice for one plastic measuring jug, nothing special i.e. not a sterilised one or anything like that...... it cost £25!! The reason being they only needed one, ordered it and it had a small order surcharge on it as well as P&P costs.

The world would be a lovely place without people
