yep i think you are right Primrose - i just can't wait - when it gets to spring all sense leaves me.
My other half built me a huge portable tunnel for this very reason. Well kind of portable - it takes two people to drag it over the bed to shield what i have foolishly sown or planted out in mad hope..
It is basically 2 tree trunks with holes bored along and thin whips stuck in the holes and bent over. Then its covered in plastic. Where there is a will there is a way
