I have to confess I haven't watched any more programmes after the first one, as I assumed that (with my vast knowledge ) there wasn't a lot to be learnt from it.
I think we're unlikely to see a programme for those of us who've been growing a few years as the knowledge is too specialised to attract anywhere near a large enough audience to warrant them spending money on such a programme. (What a long sentence with no punctuation! )

Cider Boys want a "Lobby for Old Hands' Programme" but would we take any notice?
We happily tell people how we do things but do we change as a result of reading posts? I doubt it.
Or is it just my cynicism increasing as my 60th looms?

I think you're bang on there Geoff. I do change the odd thing each year but nothing like as much as I promise myself I will change things each year. Everyone does things differently and long may it continue or we'd have no forum.

I would be very happy for the visually impaired allotmenteer to have his own programme. He was inspirational.

If this programme was the only one in the series to make a difference, it was worth it.
