It was very odd tigger, but the page that lists the title of each forum, was completely different, and instead of being one above the other they were in three or four columns, a bit like the page on a newspaper with it's different columns.
I have my specs on now, and the only mushrooms I have eaten have been the legal type.......

Okay, just for the sake of Compo's sanity, I'll come clean

have been testing a new layout for the forum, but the main purpose of which is not to have a radical change of look (although there will be some) but mainly to switch it to a 'Table-free' layout. This may not mean much to the non-web/techy types, but it makes a world of difference to me as a web designer.
For those that like it just the way it is, you should make sure your profile 'Board settings' are set to 'Subza' - the new look will be 'Wimpole'...
Of course, I think the new look will be better, and I'll soon be starting a new topic to discuss it in detail.

You wicked Spud letting Compo think he'd gone mad; and letting US all think he was off his rocker too. Poor Compo, he'll need a rub down with a damp copy of KG and a lie down in a darkened room to get over this.

Thankfully I work in mental health, so I knew all along that there was a logical explanation, I am surprised that no one else noticed cos it went on fora few days..............there are various medications available that might help some OTHER forum members, and I would be happy to recommend!!

Until the new look is officially launched, you'll only see the changes if your profile board settings are set to 'Wimpole'
and I happen to be testing it. (More and more over the next couple of weeks)
The rest of the time, the forum will be set to 'Subza' whether you like it or not.
The reason that Compo saw it was probably because I accidentally left the forum in test mode overnight.
(Though why he has his profile set to Wimpole, I don't know
)
