i have to ask wether these exploding potatoes were being cooked whole in their jackets as if they were then that would explain the exploding.Surely its common knowledge that these(any jacket potato mayan or not) have to be pricked with a fork? As for the mush caused after boiling it does clearly state "good for all uses apart from boiling."...having said that, ive never grown them but they look worth a try.S.Tart.
