Did the basic fettling on the freecycle shed.
Re-attached the door, attached some 3" x 1&1/2" tanalised timber as a base. :D
Went and watched the 1st 15 loose 15 - 55 to Richmond, got mildly pickled while watching, so the result did not hurt.

I've got quite a soft spot for cracking bacon butties, as long as there not tooth cracking ones.
And before you say it, yes they are all my own teeth, actually i haven't had any pulled out yet, i have come close to getting them punched out a few times though.
Hedge laying does not start for quite a few weeks yet, so i won't be there for a while.

Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

Worked till 3 - boring
went shopping in Bedford for a new outfit for a posh "do" - frustrating
stopped off on the way back to pick up a couple of old sinks that I found on Freecycle - will use them for herbs,I think. just got to work out how to get them out of the car!
no gardening done at all - very bad!

Dear Zena you do keep getting awfuly close to me, so to speak. 8)
Are your sinks those old white butler sinks, if so they do weigh in heavy, make sure you get them in the right position before you fill them, and put plenty of old crocks in the bottom.
They should look really nice once planted up. :D

Yep, that's the sort. I'm really pleased with them, but hubby needs some convincing.

They're just dumped in the back garden at the moment - it'll be the weekend before I get a chance to do anything with them. I was planning something with herbs though!

You watch that OH Jopsy - he's known for his misbehaving

Well I got my herb bed done today & thought I would share the results with you. Particularly pleased with my mini standard bay wot I have growed myself. Thought it was about time I released it from life in a pot.

Sue :D

Dear Sue what a lovely job you have made of that, i bet your other half is worn out doing that lot, while you dished the orders out from the comfort of your chair.
I find it very hard to believe that anyone thinks that i could misbehave.

Kind regard Old Herbaceous.
