Hmm, I see the error of my ways now... on the packets, it says that poppy seeds are 'toxic' apparently!
Perhaps their addictive nature is why the f*ing peacocks keep eating all the flowers!
More worryingly is the number of poppies growing in our neighbouring churchyard!

My nana used to say the just because there's snow on the roof, don't mean the fires gone out.
She was a brilliant, quietly spirited woman who died at the ripe age of 95. She was blessed in life with 2 men who loved her deeply and a large family that worshipped her.
