When the parents don't care either and probably did it themselves a very few years previously the only long term solution is to modify the gene pool - catch the buggers and cut their balls off!

Will you be selling tickets? Can I order some now?

Grock & Lizzie - as allotments are the flavour of the month (KG, other well known gardening magazines, BBC 2 'Big Dig', GW visits, stands at Malvern, Chelsea and GWL., etc), I wonder if it would be worth making a few calls/e-mails to the various media contacts. You might drum up enough interest to get the topic of vandalism discussed more widely and - who knows - maybe some company might offer a little bit of help in the form of replacements?

Hi Tigger

That is what i'm wanting to do but I want to talk it over with the Chair firstly. She's a lovely woman, firm but fair and I wouldn't want to tread on her toes. I'm not on the committee so I think it's only fair I discuss it with Margaret.

She had her own shed burned down whilst she was nursing her late husband through terminal cancer. It was the look on Dennis's face that brought the lump to the throat.

Bloody heartbreaking.
