Hi Westhamron,

I watched it - I think I have a new phobia... The second lonely planet series is amazing ( no spoilers but I was sitting on the edge of my seat literally screaming at the TV) - I fear I may have a few more phobias by the time the series finishes!

I was cool with David - soothing voice & all that! But don't want most of those guys near my allotment or greenhouse & that is unlikely - fingers crossed! I'd like to add another phobia - dying poisoned rats, they are erratic, smelly & covered in flies. I wish I had the courage to whack them with the spade but I'm too busy trying to figure which direction they are going & avoiding them as they run to me! Not a pleasant way to die, but I go all girlie & scream & run when the nurse bit should kick in - but it is a rat!

My husband once had to kill a dying water vole our cat had dragged home when we lived by a river because I didn't have the guts to do It. and poor creature was in a terrible state. i don't know why we sensitive girls assume that it's any easier a task for man than for a woman. He whacked it several times with a spade until it was dead but then threw up and cried at what he'd just had to so.

I think dying is probably just as terrifying when you're a rat as when when a human, and yes dying of rat poisoning is awful to watch . I wish it were just possible to shoot them so they could have an instant death.

Agreed OH

God Bless, no strike that ................................................ God Help America

The danger when people start to believe their own publicity is that they often fall off their own ego.

At least travelling under the guise of the Pa Snip Enterprise gives me an excuse for appearing to be on another planet

All together now join in the new anthem "Nellie the Elephant's off to the jungle, Trump, Trump, Trump". Beats the Star Spangled Banner!

Odd to have a country led by a man whose name (over here) signifies a loud and offensive incidence of flatulence!

"The Now Show" thinks the UK is scary too with May and Hammond running things with possibly Clarkson in the background.

Good One Primrose!

That belongs on the joke thread! Not to worry 'All's good in the old US of A'!
