Interesting isn,t it? We gardeners don' t seem to need much in the way of elaborate birthday celebrations to keep us a happy lot!

Allotments and vegetable gardens should be prescribed on the NHS. It would probably massively reduce rhe cost of tranquilisers and anti depressants!

Except in summer season when people go on holiday and return to a weed bed
(not a weed in bed, although that depends on how depressed they get about the plot I suppose)
