Sweetpea seedlings

I have just been round to my rain sodden plot and my peas look like they have drowned!
Out of 50 or so I planted out there's only about 10 that look OK!
Will they revive once they dry out or are they gonners?

That's a real shame Jopsy .....but remember what Peterf said....

I'm sure they'll rally round.
As for mine I have to admit they're still being mollycoddled.

I have just been around to the garden and something has eaten one side of my peas and beans!
The other side are glorious! GRRRRRRRRR
Thankfully I saved some in the potting shed

Have just planted out my 'mollycoddled' seedlings.
I did as Geoff advised to pinch out growing tip after 5 pairs of leaves. (Sorry you don't rate my organic bug spray Geoff, but I'm not one to bear a grudge.
)
Trouble is they don't quite meet trellis at the moment (changed mind about wigwam...folded it into a fan-shaped piece of trellis art instead
...watch out Tracy Emmins)
I shall be putting slug pellets around them...my policy being "if ya can't beat em, join em."
But what I'd like to know is are they susceptible to the birds? I don't know what I shall do if you say yes as I don't have any netting at all...I told you I was a novice at this gardening lark.
Any advice folks?

Hello Glory B, yes they can be very susceptible, i can remember giving this old bird a bunch of sweetpeas, i couldn't get rid of her for weeks. 
Sorry for that, i've never had any trouble before, but now i've said that i would just keep an eye on them anyway.

....That's a good one Old H....that'll keep me grinning for rest of the day.
But what's happened is I've had a brainwave!
I've gathered lots of sharp twiggy stuff from garden and stuck it around s/p's....yes, I've imprisoned them if you like...but it's for their own safety.
Doing this will also prove useful for the other problem.....the twiggy bits will act like their 'first rung' on the ladder so to speak before reaching the dizzying heights of my artwork. (trellis)
