UPDATE.

Having not touched, or even looked at, the pear tree since June when I chopped it back and sprayed it with Jeyes I thought I would give you an update . Picture taken this morning when the theme tune on the plot was

"slip sliding away"

See Pa - keep the faith in all things!

Wonder if it will give you blossom & fruit next year? Fingers crossed. You've got it this far; trust you to have a tenacious tree with the same fighting spirit as you. I reckon you should give it a bit of TLC for it's efforts!

I think fruit next year might be over ambitiously hopeful.

In any case its not a tenacious tree, its a pear :D

Funnily enough I had decided yesterday that it is going to get a tidy up around the base and some manure laid around it.
Now where can I find some manure !!

Robo - your on fine form!

Pa you never know! Wonder what a tenacious tastes like? Sounds like a good name for a variety of some sort - I vote one of those really prickly blackberries - any other suggestions?
