Actually, the Birthday celebrations went on into today, as we ended up going to Barnsdale this morning. Surprisingly it opened at 9am, so we were up there for that time, a quick and very large fry up in there, then strolled round the gardens. It seemed quite strange seeing all the gardens that Geoff had done on G.W, all those years ago. Also the vegetable garden was open to the public this weekend, so had a good old poke around there.
I had a lovely chat with Liz Bunting, who is the legal and operations manager for the National Allotment Society, a very nice and interesting person indeed.

So all in all, a wonderful Birthday.
