Thanks for the very detailed help Geoff, you are right, our broadband is very slow. Yesterday as usual on a Sunday it just got stuck.
We have just received our grants from the Welsh government, nearly £900 each to 43 notspot properties. Our new BB will arrive wirelessly and bounced from high spots into valleys. For £20 a month we will get 10/5 and I have this confirmed from a pal who already has the service from a company called TFL.
Regarding our TV use, this will only change if and when my partner stops commuting along the M4 for work. Pembrokeshire is a lovely place to live, few jobs are available and the wages are low. She is a highly skilled professional and sought after in parts of the country though her skills are not in demand here in Pembrokeshire.
I tend to work until I'm knackered then crash and burn. I'll be in bed after BBC news or watch it in bed, then sleep. During winter I find plenty of indoors work, and providing it's not too nasty I do have outside work to deal with.
