I put everything out of the vacuum in the compost heap, I don't think it matters if you have a few fibres in your soil that that don't break down, they still improve the texture, no more harm than vermiculite or perlite. Go nicely with all the plastic from shredded window envelopes that aren't cellophane any more. However I almost never put tea bags in because we don't use them, don't understand why people do, inferior tea at inflated prices that you use more of. If you have a compost bucket why not use leaf tea and just empty the pot into the bucket? Same with coffee grounds from the cafetiere. My last lot of socks are bamboo, very comfortable, no splinters, they could end up composted I suppose.

I would say, this is nice idea and I should give it a try. I do not see anything problematic while composting and vacuum cleaner dust.
