I put a layer of hen hut cleanings in every time I clean the hens out and that heats it up very quickly. Also if you have any Achillea in your herbaceous borders that is said to be a good compost activator and you don't need to add a lot.

By the way ladies, the Shewee is very handy, but you need stretchy trousers and a loose longish top to stay decent - they also come with a little length of tube so you can have an extension!

We once saw a large advert for Hozelock sprinklers fixed to the entrance of the gents loos at a York garden centre. That did make us laugh!

Of course the snag with that is that being the internet hose lock type fittings would never be big enough
