It's pouring with rain here, and we've had to put the central heating on, so a reminder that summer is rapidly waning, plus the reminder about Christmas is just what I need for a typical wet August Bank Holiday.
Having returned from a fortnight's holiday yesterday, I luckily have plenty of indoor jobs like freezing beans, processing tomatoes, and dealing with mail to keep me busy but why does it always rain on Bank Holiday Mondays?
