I hope the grass soon stops growing too, PJ, the lawns still look very lush indeed, and still need at least one more cut.

I'm hoping it will slow down our lawn growth. It would be nice to put the lawn mower away for the winter and get it serviced. One year we ended up mowing the grass on New Year's Day because it was so long and it had been so mild.
Can anybody tell me at what temperature my lettuces will collapse under their plastic cloches?

I cleaned the mower up and put it away for the winter a couple of weeks ago, but it will have to come out again by the looks of it
