Hi all,
Many, many thanks for all the good wishes
Just got home this afternoon, as they did the procedure last evening. I'm now the proud owner of 3 stents, 2 of which are the new dis-solvable type.
The op was transmitted live to the USA and watched by a panel of cardiologists from all over the world. It was quite interesting listening to the questions and answers
They done it through the wrist and not the groin which was another plus point
Saw the doc this morning, and was told to go home and get back on that allotment

Hi PJ
Great to hear that all is well

I would give it a week to heal before taking on the plot
Regards
Arnie

Great News PJ! You must have expert cardiologists if procedure was transmitted to the States! NHS is still proving it's worth! (Wonder what that will cost the poor patient's in the States??)
Make sure you follow doctors orders then - back on the allotment!

Quite a nice view from the ward as well. Strange listening to Big Ben all night

Feeling pretty good today. Went for a 3 mile walk and cut the grass, so not doing too bad.
I can't drive for a week, so that keeps me away from the soggy allotment.
When we were just arriving at the hospital, waiting for the traffic to stop opposite the hospital, we saw the Queen go past. Nice of her to turn out for me

I hope she waved!
