Cleaning out the greenhouse at the end of the season - SPIDERS!!!! OK I know they don't bite you over here but born & raised in outback Aussie the parents warning still overcomes logic at times! (Drives my OH bonkers as he has to move them all, so his least favourite job as well!)

Oh, Westi, you should leave your greenhouse spiders well alone - they catch greenfly, whitefly and lots of other undesirables! I don't like them but I hope they stay to do their job.

I've got another one. Pulling up the rotting remains of drowned plants from a waterlogged bed in flaming June.

Hi Monika
Only move them out when pressure spraying the greenhouse so they won't drown. They only get put in the bed at the back so hopefully they make their way back in - confused but alive and dry!
